Short Bio I am an independent consultant and trainer specializing in youth development, juvenile justice and not-for profit governance and leadership. I have been a certified Child and Youth Care Professional (CYC-P) since 2008. I previously served as Director of the Bartholomew County Youth Services Center, and Executive Director of the Foundation for Youth of Bartholomew County, Inc. and the Bartholomew County Youth Advocacy Commission. I served four years as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. I was a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps and Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA). I am an active member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW), the Association of Child and Youth Care Practice, Inc. (ACYCP) and the Bartholomew County Child and Youth Development Council Guiding Team. I have been a Journey Fellow since 2008.
